While I was reading, I heard, again, a the sound of a marble drop and round on the top floor of the building I live in; and mad, because this happened very often, I put my slippers and went to the top floor to complain with the neighbor I had never met before.
After knocking the door several times, an old lady, half sleep came out and looked surprised to see me on her doorstep; after explaining why I had came to visit her, she told that she wasn't the one who was dropping the marble on the building, and that she was as annoyed as I was with that, so we both decided to go the next floor and complain with the next neighbor; but to our surprise he wasn't the one dropping the marble neither.
So, he joined us when we went to the next floor, and so we went on and on, trying to find the one who was the one dropping the marble on the floor, until we, the 26 owners of the apartments of the building, reached the last floor, and to our surprise we discovered that the last apartment on the top of the building was unoccupied.
